The HCL and HERT classes will culminate in an Integrated Capstone Event, or ICE – a comprehensive exercise where students from concurrent courses work together to respond to simulated mass casualty incidents patterned after real-world events – each playing their role during the exercise simulation.
**Note:  State, local and tribal, and territorial emergency responders’ training is fully funded, including round-trip transportation, meals, and lodging. Federal, Private Sector and International students can attend on a space-available, fee-for-service basis.
