WVHA/WV DHHR – Getting Started with Data Submission to NHSN’s Antimicrobial Use and Resistance (AUR) Module

WVHA partnered with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WV DHHR) to offer a one hour webinar on the implementation of the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Antimicrobial Use and Resistance (AUR) Module.
The webinar covers the inclusion of AUR reporting in the CMS Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program for CY 2024 and guidance from NHSN on how to get started with reporting data for this module. During this session, Logan Regional Medical Center shared their journey to successful data submission for the AUR module.

Real-Time Collaboration for Your Most Complex Patients

On March 2, the West Virginia Hospital Association, the West Virginia Coalition to End Homelessness and Collective Medical, a PointClickCare company hosted a webinar on EDIE and the emergency department solutions for hospitals in West Virginia. Collective helps providers across West Virginia and the country address key issues like substance use disorder, collaboration with behavioral health, homelessness, workplace violence prevention, and ED optimization. This solution allows for real-time notifications and care insights for your patients in the emergency department, which now includes data from the statewide HMIS system.
