WVHA Discharge Data Program
WVHA helps hospitals turn insight into action with the WVHA Discharge Data Program. WVHA has partnered with the Missouri Hospital Association and the Hospital Industry Data Institute (HIDI) as the cornerstone for WVHA’s discharge data program.
Participating hospitals submit data through a secure, web-based tool. HIDI data submission tools ensure accurate and high-quality data that meets their reporting needs.
WVHA submits completed files and reconciliation reports on behalf of the hospitals to the West Virginia Health Care Authority as required by West Virginia state law.
Participation in this program provides hospitals’ decision makers access to Strategic Planning and Quality reports via WVHA’s Quality and Data Intelligence Dashboards (QDI).
